3. Our Services & Role

3.1  Service Categories

WWE Travel CY provides the following travel services:

  • Hotel Stays — booking facilitation for hotels in Cyprus. We act as an intermediary between you and the hotel. The accommodation contract is between you and the hotel.

  • Holiday Home Rentals — booking coordination for apartments, villas, and resort complexes in Cyprus. We act as intermediary between you and the property owner or manager.

  • Airport Transfers — booking coordination with licensed ground transport operators in Cyprus. The transport contract is between you and the operator.

  • Day Tours & Excursions — booking facilitation for licensed tour and excursion operators. The service contract is between you and the operator.

  • Holiday Packages — where we combine two or more of the above services for the same trip, the booking may constitute a Package under EU Directive 2015/2302. See Section 7 for the additional rights and protections that apply.

  • B2B Services — distribution, platform access, and destination management services for travel trade partners, governed by separate B2B agreements and Section 13 of these Terms.

3.2  Intermediary vs Organiser Role

WWE Travel CY acts as an intermediary for standalone bookings (single hotel, single transfer, single excursion). For Packages, WWE Travel CY acts as the organiser and accepts full organiser liability under EU Directive 2015/2302. Where our role is intermediary, the underlying service contract is between you and the Supplier; WWE Travel CY's obligation is to use reasonable skill and care in facilitating the booking and communicating with the Supplier on your behalf.

A declaration that we are acting as an intermediary does not relieve us of any obligations imposed on us by applicable law, including EU Directive 2015/2302, where those obligations apply.

4.1  How to Book

4. Booking Process & Confirmation

Bookings may be submitted through:

  • Our website at www.wwe-cy.com (booking request forms)

  • Email to info@wwe-cy.com

  • Telephone or WhatsApp to +357 99 210460

  • Through an authorised B2B partner

Submitting a booking request does not, in itself, create a contract. A booking is only confirmed when WWE Travel CY issues a written confirmation (email, PDF invoice, or booking voucher).

4.2  Confirmation & Contract Formation

A binding contract between you and WWE Travel CY is formed at the point we issue a written booking confirmation. For Packages, the contract is formed in accordance with EU Directive 2015/2302. You are responsible for reviewing all details in the confirmation (names, dates, property, services included, total price) and notifying us of any errors within 24 hours of receipt.

4.3  Lead Passenger Responsibility

The person submitting the booking (lead passenger or lead contact) is responsible for:

  • Ensuring all passenger details provided are accurate and complete

  • Informing all members of the travelling party of these Terms & Conditions

  • Ensuring all passengers meet any entry, visa, health, or documentation requirements

  • Making payments on behalf of the group as agreed

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices displayed on our website and in our quotations are in Euros (EUR) unless explicitly stated otherwise. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes and fees unless a specific item is stated as excluded. Prices are subject to availability and may change between the time of enquiry and the time of confirmation.

A confirmed price is binding from the point of written confirmation, subject to the price change provisions in Section 7.4 (for Packages) and the error correction provisions below.

5.1  Prices

5.2  Pricing Errors

If a manifest pricing error is identified before a booking confirmation is issued, we will notify you and offer you the correct price before proceeding. If a pricing error is identified after confirmation, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and offer you the option to proceed at the correct price or receive a full refund of any amounts paid to WWE Travel CY. We will not be bound by a confirmed price that results from a manifest error.

5.3  Payment Methods & Timing

Payment may be made by:

  • Bank transfer (IBAN details provided on invoice)

  • Cash on arrival (where agreed in advance)

  • Online payment via Stripe or PayPal (where available)

Payment timing depends on the service booked:

  • Non-package bookings: payment terms specified in the booking confirmation (typically on arrival or within 7 days of confirmation)

  • Package bookings: deposit (if applicable) due within 48 hours of confirmation; balance due not less than 30 days before departure unless otherwise agreed in writing

5.4  Bank Charges & Currency

Any bank transfer fees, currency conversion costs, or payment processing charges are the responsibility of the payer. WWE Travel CY must receive the full invoiced amount net of any charges.

5.5  Invoicing

Invoices are issued electronically and comply with Cyprus VAT regulations. VAT is applied where applicable under Cyprus and EU law. A VAT receipt will be issued on request.

6. Cancellation & Amendment by the Client

6.1  Non-Package Bookings

Cancellation policies for non-package bookings (individual hotel, transfer, or excursion) are governed by the Supplier's own cancellation terms, which will be communicated to you at the time of booking and set out in your confirmation. WWE Travel CY will communicate Supplier cancellation terms clearly before a booking is confirmed. Any administrative fee charged by WWE Travel CY for processing cancellations is set out in Section 6.4.

6.2  Package Bookings — Standard Cancellation Fees

Where your booking constitutes a Package under EU Directive 2015/2302, you have the right to cancel at any time before the start of the package. Reasonable cancellation fees apply, based on the notice period before the first service date. These fees reflect the costs we have already incurred with Suppliers and are as follows:

You will be notified of supplier-specific terms before confirmation.

6.3  Package Bookings — Free Cancellation for Extraordinary Circumstances

In accordance with EU Directive 2015/2302 (Article 12(3)), you have the right to cancel a Package free of charge, without paying any cancellation fee, where unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occur at or in the immediate vicinity of the destination and significantly affect the performance of the package, or which significantly affect the transport of passengers to the destination. In such cases, you will receive a full refund of all payments made to WWE Travel CY, within 14 days of cancellation.

What constitutes unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances is assessed on a case-by-case basis, with reference to official government travel advisories and established legal criteria. Circumstances that were foreseeable at the time of booking will not generally qualify.

6.4  Administrative Fee

An administrative fee of EUR 25 per booking applies to all cancellations and significant amendments, to cover processing costs. This fee is not charged where cancellation is due to our fault or force majeure attributable to us

6.5  Amendments

Requests to amend a confirmed booking (change of dates, names, accommodation type, etc.) are subject to Supplier availability and may incur amendment fees as set by the Supplier. We will advise you of any fees before processing an amendment. We cannot guarantee that amendments will always be possible.

7. Package Travel — Your Rights Under EU Directive 2015/2302

This section applies where your booking constitutes a Package as defined by EU Directive 2015/2302, which is transposed into Cyprus law. A Package exists where WWE Travel CY combines at least two different types of travel service (e.g. accommodation + transfer; accommodation + excursion) for the same trip, sold at an inclusive price or offered under a single contract.

Your statutory rights as a package traveller cannot be waived. Any contractual term that purports to restrict or exclude these rights is void to that extent (EU Directive 2015/2302, Article 23).

7.1  Pre-Contract Information

Before you are bound by a Package contract, WWE Travel CY will provide you with the standard pre-contractual information required by EU Directive 2015/2302, including: the main characteristics of the travel services; the total price and payment schedule; cancellation and refund arrangements; passport, visa, and health requirements; insolvency protection details; and contact information.

7.2  Package Contract

The Package contract will be provided in a durable medium (email PDF) and will include all information required by EU Directive 2015/2302 Annex I. You should retain a copy for the duration of your trip.

7.3  WWE Travel CY’s Organiser Liability

As organiser of a Package, WWE Travel CY is liable for the proper performance of all travel services included in the Package contract, regardless of whether those services are performed by WWE Travel CY or by third-party Suppliers. This means:

  • If any travel service is not performed or is performed defectively, you have the right to a price reduction and/or compensation for damages, unless the lack of conformity is attributable to you, to an unforeseeable third party, or to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.

  • We will offer you suitable alternative arrangements without extra charge where any significant part of the Package cannot be provided as agreed.

  • If we cannot offer alternatives, or you reject them on reasonable grounds, we will arrange your return to the point of departure and provide a full refund of the Package price.

7.4  Price Changes After Confirmation

After a Package is confirmed, we may only increase the price in limited circumstances (e.g. increases in fuel costs, taxes, or exchange rates), and only if this possibility was clearly stated in the contract. The rules are:

7.5  Significant Changes by the Organiser

If WWE Travel CY proposes a significant change to a key element of the Package (e.g. departure time, accommodation category, destination) before departure, we will notify you in a clear and prominent manner and allow you a reasonable period to respond. You may: accept the change; accept a substitute package (at the same or lower cost, with a refund of any price difference); or cancel with a full refund within 14 days.

7.6  Insolvency Protection

WWE Travel CY maintains insolvency protection as required by EU Directive 2015/2302. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, this protection covers the refund of all payments you have made for services not yet provided, and repatriation costs where you are already at the destination. Details of our insolvency protection scheme are available on request and in your Package contract.

Insolvency protection details: LGU/080216/018  NAME OF BOND/GUARANTEE SCHEME, POLICY NUMBER, AND CONTACT]. This information is required by law to appear in your Package contract.

8. Cancellation or Changes by WWE Travel CY

8.1  Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel a booking in the following circumstances:

  • Non-payment by the agreed deadline

  • The Supplier cancels or withdraws the service (for non-package bookings)

  • Unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances make performance of the service impossible or significantly impaired

  • You have provided false or misleading information that is material to the booking

Where we cancel a Package due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances, you will receive a full refund within 14 days, with no additional compensation payable. Where we cancel a Package for other reasons within our control, you are entitled to a full refund plus compensation as provided by EU Directive 2015/2302.

8.2  Force Majeure

WWE Travel CY is not liable for failure or delay in performance caused by Force Majeure. Where Force Majeure affects a Package booking, your rights under Section 7 (including free cancellation and full refund) remain unaffected where those rights apply.

9. Airport Transfers

Airport transfer services are provided by licensed third-party transport operators. By booking a transfer through WWE Travel CY, you acknowledge:

  • WWE Travel CY acts as intermediary; the transport contract is between you and the operator.

  • Quoted prices are for the vehicle type and route specified in your confirmation. Changes to the route, number of passengers, or pick-up point may result in additional charges.

  • Transfer times are estimates only. Delays caused by flight disruption, traffic, border control, or other factors beyond our or the operator’s reasonable control do not entitle you to a refund.

  • You are responsible for providing accurate flight information (flight number, arrival terminal, time). WWE Travel CY and the operator monitor flight arrivals where flight details are provided; however, we accept no liability for missed connections resulting from late or inaccurate information supplied by you.

  • Missed transfers due to flight cancellation will be rescheduled where possible, subject to availability. A refund or rescheduling will be offered at our discretion where the cancellation is notified to us with reasonable notice.

For transfers booked as part of a Package, WWE Travel CY’s full organiser liability under Section 7 applies.

10. Holiday Home Rentals

Holiday home rentals (apartments, villas, resort complexes) are coordinated by WWE Travel CY acting as intermediary between you and the property owner or manager. The following specific terms apply:

10.1  Check-in & Check-out

Standard check-in time is 14:00; standard check-out is 11:00, unless otherwise stated in your booking confirmation. Early or late check-in/out is subject to availability and must be pre-arranged. Failure to vacate by check-out time may result in additional charges levied by the property owner.

10.2  Occupancy

The maximum occupancy specified in your booking confirmation must not be exceeded. Exceeding maximum occupancy may result in termination of the rental without refund.

10.3  Property Rules

All guests must comply with the house rules of the property, as communicated in the booking confirmation or at check-in. Common rules include restrictions on smoking, parties, noise, pets, and pool usage hours. Failure to comply may result in the property owner terminating the rental.

10.4  Security Deposit

Some properties require a security deposit, payable directly to the property owner or manager at check-in. The deposit amount and conditions for its return will be communicated in your booking confirmation. WWE Travel CY is not a party to any security deposit arrangement between you and the property owner.

10.5  Damage & Loss

You are responsible for any damage to the property or its contents caused during your stay. Costs of damage beyond fair wear and tear may be deducted from the security deposit or invoiced separately by the property owner. WWE Travel CY is not liable for disputes between guests and property owners regarding damage or deposits.

11. Day Tours & Excursions

Day tours and excursions are operated by licensed third-party operators. WWE Travel CY acts as intermediary. The following terms apply:

  • Excursion schedules, routes, and content are determined by the operator and are subject to change without notice due to weather, road conditions, local regulations, or operational requirements.

  • Participation in excursions involving physical activity (boat trips, hiking, water sports, etc.) is at your own risk. You are responsible for assessing your own fitness and health suitability.

  • Age, weight, or health restrictions may apply to certain excursions. These restrictions will be communicated at the time of booking. Failure to comply may result in exclusion from the excursion without refund.

  • In the event an excursion is cancelled by the operator (e.g. due to weather), WWE Travel CY will use reasonable efforts to offer an alternative date or a refund of the excursion fee. No further compensation is payable for operator-initiated cancellations.

12. Client Responsibilities & Travel Documentation

12.1  Travel Documents

You are solely responsible for ensuring that all members of your travelling party hold:

  • Valid passports (valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended return date, as recommended)

  • Any required visas or entry authorisations for Cyprus and any transit countries

  • Any required health documentation (vaccination certificates, health declarations, etc.)

  • Adequate travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, personal liability, and baggage

WWE Travel CY provides general travel information on our website but this does not constitute advice on your specific documentation requirements. You should verify requirements with the relevant embassies, consulates, or official government sources before travel.

12.2  Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travellers take out comprehensive travel insurance before confirming a booking. WWE Travel CY does not provide travel insurance and accepts no liability for losses that would have been covered by adequate insurance.

12.3  Health & Accessibility

You are responsible for assessing the suitability of services for any health conditions, disabilities, or accessibility requirements. Please inform us of any relevant requirements at the time of booking and we will use reasonable efforts to accommodate or advise accordingly. WWE Travel CY does not guarantee that all properties or services are fully accessible.

12.4  Conduct

You and all members of your party are expected to behave in a manner that does not cause offence, danger, or distress to others. WWE Travel CY and its Suppliers reserve the right to terminate a booking without refund where the conduct of any member of your party is considered, in the reasonable opinion of the Supplier, to be unacceptable.

13. B2B Partners — Additional Terms

13.4  Suspension & Termination

WWE Travel CY may suspend or terminate a B2B Partner’s access immediately and without notice in the event of: misuse of the platform; provision of false information; breach of these Terms or the B2B Partner Agreement; non-payment; or conduct likely to bring WWE Travel CY into disrepute. In less serious cases, WWE Travel CY will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach before termination.

The courts of the Republic of Cyprus have exclusive jurisdiction, save that consumers resident in other EU Member States retain the right to bring proceedings in their country of residence and to rely on mandatory consumer protection provisions of their local law where these afford greater protection than Cyprus law.
